Jan 01, 2018 · I have a working internet connection but browsers are not being able to connect to the internet. this has been a serious problem as I have not been able to browse anything from my PC although other apps are working completely fine. If I switch on the Wf-Fi, then internet works both in apps and in the browser. I have also tried using Firefox and Opera, but I get the same issue. Incidentally, the Gmail app behaves the same as the browsers: It cannot connect to the internet when on mobile networks. I am using a Lenovo tablet. Any help would be much appreciated. Aug 11, 2018 · I have tried this using DHCP as well as setting a static IP address (using the address that DHCP assigned it). Both gave the same results. It also was not getting a DNS server address, so I set that up for 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. For some reason, I decided to reconnect the wired connection. This came online and was "connected" and had internet access. Other apps like steam works well with net and even games do so it shouldnt be internet problem.
